Renee Cleland
It was 20 years ago when Cleland first met Norman while auditioning for the Leyden Singers. She was a member of the Leyden Singers for 15 years performing both with the Oregon Symphony Pops and the Seattle Symphony Pops. Norman became a mentor during those years as he shared his love of big band music with her. She has been the featured soloist with Norman on several occasions including with the Big Band Pops at the Evergreen Flight Museum, at the Oregon Gardens, 4th of July with the Newport Symphony, and at the Big Band Series Concerts with the Minneapolis and Indianapolis Symphony Pops. Cleland resides in West Linn, Oregon with Thane, her husband and their son Ty.
