Baritone Daniel Narducci is a versatile artist equally at home in the concert hall, opera house, musical theater and recording studio. Since his professional debut with the Cincinnati Pops Orchestra under the direction of Erich Kunzel, he has appeared with many of the world’s top orchestras, including the Cleveland Orchestra, Philadelphia Orchestra, Boston Pops and Chicago Symphony.
On the operatic stage, recent roles include Mercutio in Gounod’s Roméo et Juliette with the Cleveland Opera and Escamillo in Carmen with the Indianapolis Opera. Elsewhere, he has portrayed Count Almaviva in Le Nozze di Figaro, Marcello in La Bohème, Figaro in Il Barbiere di Siviglia, Guglielmo in Così fan tutte and Belcore in L’Elisir d’amore.
Narducci recently made his New York City debut at Alice Tully Hall with the Collegiate Chorale in An Evening of American Operetta. He also played Lancelot during two national tours of Camelot, most notably opposite Robert Goulet’s King Arthur, and Anthony Hope in Cleveland Opera’s Sweeney Todd.
Narducci, a graduate of the Indiana University School of Music, recently created the role of Captain Hook on the world premiere recording of Leonard Bernstein’s Peter Pan for Koch International Records.
