Bach, for writing the amazing sonatas and partitas.
Why did you choose this pose for your photograph?
My family is the most important thing to me, and my kids are a constant source of amusement and inspiration.
What do you enjoy most about performing?
Expressing vivid emotions and bringing new music to eager audiences.
Other than playing great music, what do you see as the Symphony's most important role?
To play great music at a very high level and to bring along a new generation of fans.
What is your favorite part of being a member of the Oregon Symphony?
Playing Mahler symphonies.
