Portland, Ore. … Jessika Allen, a 12-year veteran of non-profit fundraising, is the new Director of Corporate Development for the Oregon Symphony. Allen, who most recently served as the Associate Executive Director of Camp Fire USA Mt. Hood Council, began her Symphony position July 15. While at Camp Fire, Allen funded all council programs, managed two camps and oversaw the youth club programs in Clark and Clackamas Counties.
“Jessika is a splendid addition to our development team,” said Symphony Vice President for Development Eugene R. Gregory. “She brings not only a wealth of experience and achievement in the field, but a passion and tenacity that is a joy to be around.”
“I look forward to putting all my past experience to work for the Oregon Symphony in supporting Music Director Carlos Kalmar’s dream of touching all Oregon residents through performances and a vast array of community engagement programs,” said Allen.
Allen earned her bachelor’s at Indiana University and has a master of arts degree from Portland’s Lewis and Clark College.
