OREGON SYMPHONY ADDS TWO MORE CONCERTS
TO THE 2015/16 SEASON

(PORTLAND, Ore.) –  The Oregon Symphony’s 2015/16 season continues to grow, adding even greater breadth to an already expansive season with the addition of Chris Botti and The Music of Queen.

CHRIS BOTTI
7:30 pm, Saturday, January 30, 2016

One Man. One Horn. What a concert! Oregon native and trumpet sensation Chris Botti returns to Portland and the Oregon Symphony for a not-to-be-missed evening of cool jazz styling with the orchestra!

THE MUSIC OF QUEEN: A ROCK SYMPHONY
7:30 pm, Tuesday, May 24, 2016

Bridging the gulf between rock ‘n’ roll and classical music, The Music of Queen combines a full orchestra and a rock band and vocals to capture Queen’s distinctive sound. Las Vegas star Brody Dolyniuk delivers a fabulous rendition of Freddie Mercury’s vocals, including “We Will Rock You” and many others.

The addition of these concerts brings the total number of concert performances this season to 78: 40 Classical; 8 Pops; 3 Kids; and 27 Special concerts.

Tickets for these concerts are now available to Oregon Symphony subscribers in a special pre-sale associated with their subscription benefits. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Monday, December 14.
