Oregon Symphony Assocation in Salem

Speakers Bureau

The Speakers Bureau was established to bring information to Mid-Valley Service Clubs about the performances of the Oregon Symphony in Salem, and its other related activities.

Topics include:

  • Over 50 years of bringing Oregon Symphony performances to Salem.
  • News about concerts of the upcoming season.
  • Programs offered by OSAS including: Youth Concerts, Master Classes, Essay Contest, Wiscarson Young Musicians’ Competition, Take Ten, Patrons of Note and Music Educator of the Year.
  • How to become involved in OSAS to ensure continuity of this valuable cultural opportunity in the Mid-Valley. Twenty nine communities are represented by season ticket subscribers!

Programs are presented by current or former board members, or other supporters. They may include a power point presentation with length tailored to the club’s agenda. Breakfast, lunch, dinner and evening presentations are possible.

Anyone interested in a presentation for their organization should contact the OSAS at 503-364-0149.
