to play and sing along with the Oregon Symphony in
May 5 & May 9, 2022 at 10:30 am and 12 pm
Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall

Link Up National, a program of Carnegie Hall’s Weill Music Institute, pairs orchestras across the country and around the world with students in elementary schools (grades 3-5) in their local communities to explore orchestral repertoire through a hands-on music curriculum. Melody is one of the universal elements of music. Composers and musicians create melodies, which can be sung or played on instruments. Through the Link Up repertoire, students explore melody, rhythm, and style through listening, composition, and performance, and play recorder and sing alongside the Oregon Symphony from their seats in a culminating, interactive concert experience. Join us and we will discover how the orchestra sings and how we LINK UP with each other through music.

Your school receives at NO COST:

  • A two-hour Professional Development workshop and additional optional Carnegie Hall webinars
  • Link Up: The Orchestra Sings Teacher Guide and a full student access to the online curriculum
  • Access to Carnegie Hall’s online resources for Link Up and other education support music, materials, and games
  • Ongoing individual support in preparation for the 2022 Link Up concert
