Symphony Storytimes

Introduce younger children to music with a fun, musical storytime at a local public library. A reader from the library will tell the stories while an Oregon Symphony musician brings them to life with live music. At the end, the kids get to try the instruments for themselves!

Video: Symphony Storytime with Claire and Marilyn

In a very special Symphony Storytime, Grimm star Claire Coffee teams up with the Oregon Symphony’s Marilyn de Oliveira to tell the classic Brothers Grimm story of the Bremen Town Musicians – with a little help from Leopold the Leopard!
Note: This does not represent a typical Symphony Storytime experience

Symphony Storytimes bring stories to life for young listeners, enhancing them with live music played by Oregon Symphony musicians like Marilyn de Oliveira, assistant principal cello.

Featuring Claire Coffee, Marilyn de Oliveira, and Victor Yerrid (Leopold). Directed by Misty Eddy. Produced by Claire Coffee. Special thanks to Cedarwood School.
