BEETHOVEN'S NINTH SYMPHONY AND A ROBERTA FLACK VALENTINE
HEAD UP FEBRUARY'S FULL CONCERT SLATE


(PORTLAND, Ore.) – February may be the shortest month of the year, but the list of concerts on the Oregon Symphony’s February slate is far from short.  Five concerts fill the bill, from The Canadian Tenors and piano virtuoso Stephen Hough to Beethoven’s monumental Ninth Symphony and A Roberta Flack Valentine.

FRIDAY, FEB. 1
THE CANADIAN TENORS

When and Where: 7:30 pm; at the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall. (Note: The Canadian Tenors also perform in Salem on February 2, without the orchestra.  See www.orsymphonysalem.org for more information.)

The Performers: The Canadian Tenors with the Oregon Symphony, Robert Bernhardt conducts.
                                                                                                                                 
The Program:   An evening of tenor anthems and songs from their new CD, “Lead with your Heart.”  Audiences will thrill to their “Amazing Grace,” “Forever Young,” Cohen’s “Hallelujah,” and plenty more.
