Frequently Asked Questions

Beginning with the launch of our 2022/23 Season on September 16, 2022, masks will no longer be required for audiences at the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall or Smith Auditorium. We continue to welcome and strongly encourage patrons to wear masks, particularly those who are immunocompromised or unvaccinated. Proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test is no longer required for entry.

Policies are subject to change based on local, state, or federal guidelines and recommendations. Any policy or schedule change will be communicated in a timely and transparent way. The safety of our audiences, musicians, and staff remains our highest priority. We ask that patrons be respectful of one another’s choice. For more information, go to orsymphony.org/safety.

 In the event of a concert cancelation, all Oregon Symphony patrons may choose from the following options:

• Exchange your ticket(s) for another scheduled concert in the current season
• Exchange your ticket(s) for an emailed gift certificate of equal value (physical certificates are available upon request).
• Donate the value of your ticket(s). You will receive an acknowledgment of your fully tax-deductible gift.
• Request a full or partial refund

In the event of a concert cancelation, patrons will be contacted promptly. Oregon Symphony offers a generous exchange and/or refund policy, and all ticket holders will have 90 days to act on any funds associated with the concert. After this period, if no action has been taken, these funds will automatically convert to a tax-deductible donation. Further details can be found at orsymphony.org/cancelations.

The Oregon Symphony is extending the expiration dates of all gift cards issued after July 1, 2019 to be valid until June 30, 2023. Any gift cards not redeemed by June 30, 2023 will expire. All other gift cards are valid for 1 year from the issue date.
