End the year on a high note!
December 30 & 31, 2026
New Year’s Eve with Beethoven’s Ninth
Overview
Ring in the new year with Beethoven’s iconic ninth symphony, a classical masterwork that celebrates the unity of all mankind. The piece ends with the development of the ever-hopeful “Ode to Joy” theme, with a choir of voices singing the words of a poem by Friedrich Schiller. And like any good New Year’s party, the symphony ends with a kiss... “You millions, I embrace you./This kiss is for all the world!”
