Admission
Entry to any Oregon Symphony event venue is subject to compliance with all venue policies and security protocols. The Oregon Symphony reserves the right to revoke the license granted by any ticket at its discretion. By attending, the ticket holder voluntarily assumes all risks and hazards associated with the event.
Each ticket permits a single entry. This ticket serves as a revocable license for a specific event. Unauthorized duplication, alteration, or reproduction of tickets—including modified ticket designs—may result in denial of admission. Artists, ticket prices, and program details are subject to change without notice.
Revocation of License
Violation of any ticket terms, venue policies, or safety regulations will result in the immediate revocation of this license and may lead to denial of entry or removal from the venue without refund. Prohibited conduct includes, but is not limited to, disorderly, disruptive, or intoxicated behavior; failure to comply with health and safety protocols; possession of prohibited items; and the resale of tickets in violation of applicable laws or Oregon Symphony policies. The Oregon Symphony reserves the right to refuse admission, cancel tickets, or eject any patron at its sole discretion.
Ticket Use, Resale, and Duplication
All ticket sales are final, and no refunds will be issued once a ticket has been purchased.
Subscribers receive free unlimited ticket exchanges throughout the season, limited to the series originally selected. Exchanges between different series are not permitted and are subject to availability. If an exchange is made for a lower-priced ticket, the difference in value will not be refunded. Ticket credits are non-transferable and must be used by the end of the current season. Additionally, ticket value cannot be combined to upgrade to a higher-priced ticket — all exchanges are on a ticket-for-ticket basis.
Non-subscribers may exchange tickets for select concerts at a rate of $6 per ticket. Alternatively, patrons may donate their ticket(s) by calling the Oregon Symphony Ticket Office at (503) 228-1353 up to 48 hours prior to performance. The ticket face value—excluding Hall Usage Fees—will be considered a tax-deductible donation. Once the ticket donation has been processed, the Development Department will mail out a tax receipt in 6-8 weeks. The donated ticket value counts toward patron membership benefits, including existing memberships. Patrons who received tickets gifted to them are not eligible for a tax deduction. If tickets are donated within 48 hours prior to a concert, the donation will not be considered a tax-deductible gift. Special Concerts are not eligible for exchange by non-subscribers, and other restrictions may apply.
Tickets may not be transferred or resold for more than their printed face value. Tickets can be shared securely through the Oregon Symphony’s official mobile ticketing platform, which transfers ownership to the recipient upon sharing. Tickets obtained through unauthorized sellers or secondary marketplaces are subject to cancellation without a refund. Unauthorized duplication or reproduction of tickets is strictly prohibited. If multiple copies of the same ticket are presented, the Oregon Symphony reserves the right to deny entry to all parties involved.
Lost, Stolen, or Destroyed Tickets
Lost or stolen tickets can be reissued exclusively by the Oregon Symphony and must be collected at the Box Office on the day of the event. Presentation of proof of purchase, along with valid photo identification, is required. Tickets reported lost or stolen may be canceled and replaced at the sole discretion of the Oregon Symphony.
Event Changes, Cancellations, and Refunds
Event details, including date, time, performers, program, ticket availability, and amenities, are subject to change without notice. In the case of a rescheduled event, original tickets will remain valid. Refunds are governed by the Oregon Symphony’s exchange policies. For canceled events, ticket holders will be offered the option to receive a refund (limited to face value, applicable taxes, and facility fees), donate the ticket value to the Oregon Symphony, or receive account credit. The Oregon Symphony cannot issue refunds for tickets purchased through unauthorized resellers. Refund requests for tickets bought via authorized third-party ticketing services must be directed to those services.
Use of Likeness and Recordings
By attending the event, the ticket holder grants the Oregon Symphony and its affiliates the unlimited right to use, reproduce, display, and publish their image, likeness, actions, and statements captured in any medium—including audio, video, or photography—for promotional, commercial, or editorial purposes, without further authorization or compensation.
Recording, broadcasting, reproducing, or transmitting any part of the event in any format or medium is strictly prohibited without prior written consent from the Oregon Symphony.
Mobile Device and Electronic Use
All electronic devices, including cell phones, must be silenced or turned off during the performance. The use of mobile services may result in data charges from the ticket holder’s wireless provider, for which the ticket holder is solely responsible.
Security Screening
All patrons and their belongings are subject to search upon entry. By entering the venue, the ticket holder consents to these searches. Refusal to comply will result in denial of admission without refund.
Limitation of Liability
In no event shall the Oregon Symphony, or its affiliates, vendors, sponsors, or event providers, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from unauthorized access to ticket or payment information, errors or inaccuracies in event content or listings, lost, stolen, or damaged tickets, or any changes to the event, including modifications or cancellations. Under all circumstances, the Oregon Symphony’s maximum liability shall be limited to the face value of the ticket, along with any associated taxes and facility fees. Attorneys’ fees shall not be recoverable.
Terms Subject to Change
The Oregon Symphony reserves the right to modify these terms at any time without prior notice. Any updates will take effect immediately upon being posted or communicated. Continued use of the ticket constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of law, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. These terms constitute the entire agreement between the ticket holder and the Oregon Symphony and may only be amended in writing, signed by both parties.
