Frequently Asked Questions

Who can attend a Donor Rehearsal?

Donors who have given $120 and above in this season or last season will receive complimentary access passes by email, to be redeemed across the four rehearsal dates. Depending on your giving level, you may have two, four, or six passes to bring guests.

How many seats can I reserve?

  • Prelude Circle donors ($120-299) receive two access passes.
  • Overture Circle donors ($300-599) receive four access passes.
  • Sonata Circle donors and above ($600+) receive six access passes.

What’s my promo code?

Eligible donors will receive a Donor Benefit card by mail with their unique promo code. You will also receive invitations by email prior to each Donor Rehearsal, which will include your promo code.

Can you help me redeem my access passes, or update my email address so I receive invitations?

Yes! Please contact the Development Team at 503.416.6325 or email give@orsymphony.org and we will be happy to assist you.

What should I expect at the rehearsal?

Expect to see a normal day in the life of a professional symphony musician! These are working rehearsals, where the conductor may run sections or stop and start pieces as they prepare for their performances. As guests, you will be asked to remain seated and quiet throughout, except for during the break approximately halfway through the rehearsal. Seating will be general admission, usually on the orchestra level. The conductor will not be mic’d, but those sitting nearer the front may be able to hear comments made on the stage.

Can I bring food or drinks?

Beverages with a lid are permitted. No other food or drinks are permitted in the concert hall during rehearsal.
